Instructor: Karen Krebsky

Confused by all the choices when it comes to ceramic glazes? This 2-day informational workshop will help you understand what you’re looking at and how to make informed glaze choices for your work. Through demonstrations and discussion, you’ll explore commercial and studio glazes, learn how to read glaze labels, understand firing and studio requirements, and identify what to look for when choosing and using a glaze. We’ll also cover basic application techniques, compatibility, and other factors that can affect your finished results.

*Please note, there is no hands-on component to this workshop. It is focused on building your glaze knowledge and confidence so you can make informed choices in the studio. A great hands-on follow up would be our 6-week Get Good at Glazing course!
