Join us for a fun and hands-on one-day ceramic workshop focused on the art of underglaze transfers! Students will create a slab-built ceramic platter while exploring the exciting possibilities of surface decoration using underglaze transfer techniques. Enroll to learn best practices for applying underglaze transfers to ensure clean, consistent results, including timing, moisture levels, and surface preparation. This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to learn more about the underglaze transfer process!

CLASS MATERIALS All necessary materials for this course are provided by the Artisan Center. A variety of underglaze transfer options will be available, but students are welcome to bring their own transfer sheets if they have specific designs in mind.

YOUTH PARTICIPANTS For students ages 14-17 participating in non-youth classes, parents/guardians must complete this waiver and send to Artisan.Center@nwtc.edu before the first day of class. The form may also be completed at the Artisan and Business Center if registering in person.
