Have you been thinking about getting your own kiln but don't know where to start? Have your own kiln but don't know how to take care of it? This workshop is for you! Join Artisan and Business Center Ceramics Studio Coordinator, Annie Stenseth for a two-session informational workshop to learn components of a kiln, important firing terminology, and practical skills for using and maintaining kiln equipment. Students will leave with an understanding of firing programs and schedules, how to correctly load and unload a kiln, and kiln maintenance and safety.

CLASS MATERIALS All necessary materials for this course are provided by the Artisan Center.
