Whether you are interested in a particular Raku firing method or can't commit to a full class, our Raku workshops can give you the flexibility you need! This two session workshop will introduce you to saggar firing techniques. The workshop includes a two hour introduction to Raku and guidance on creating wares with Raku clay, two weeks of open studio time to create your pieces, and one four hour firing session!

Prerequisite: Ceramics Fundamentals

Please note: this workshop is 2 Saturdays. First one is 2 hours, second one is 4 hours

YOUTH PARTICIPANTS For students ages 14-17 participating in non-youth classes, parents/guardians must complete this waiver and send to Artisan.Center@nwtc.edu before the first day of class. The form may also be completed at the Artisan and Business Center if registering in person.
