D500 - Drawing Portraits

Instructor: Miles Buss

This six-week drawing class dives into the art of portraiture, strengthening both technical skills and visual perception. Students will explore facial structure and proportion while learning to accurately observe angles, light, and shadow. Working from both photographs and life, the course emphasizes translating what you truly see onto the page. By the end, students will feel more confident capturing likeness, depth, and expressive features in their portraits.
