HH703 Handmade Holidays: Embroidered Ornaments

Create a hand-stitched felt ornament perfect for gifting or adding a handmade touch to your seasonal decor! In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn basic embroidery and embellishment techniques while constructing a layered felt ornament. Participants will explore decorative stitches, simple assembly methods, and ways to add texture and personality through thread, beads, and other embellishments. Students will leave with a completed ornament and the foundational skills needed to continue exploring hand embroidery projects at home.

YOUTH PARTICIPANTS For students ages 14-17 participating in non-youth classes, parents/guardians must complete this waiver and send to Artisan.Center@nwtc.edu before the first day of class. The form may also be completed at the Artisan and Business Center if registering in person.
