Create a handmade felt advent calendar that can become a cherished part of your holiday traditions for years to come! In this workshop, students will learn basic hand-stitching, appliqué, and embellishment techniques while constructing a festive interactive wall hanging featuring pockets and removable felt ornaments. Participants will explore layering, decorative stitching, and simple assembly methods to personalize their design with color, texture, and playful details. Due to the detailed nature of the piece, students may not complete the entire advent calendar during class time; however, participants will leave with all materials, instructions, and the skills needed to finish the project at home.
