J401 - Mixed Media on Wood

Explore abstract mixed media techniques in this playful two-day workshop focused on experimentation and discovery. Working on small wood panels, students will learn a variety of approaches using inks, acrylic paint, and collage to build layered color, texture, and composition. The first day will focus on surface preparation and technique demonstrations, while the second day is dedicated to hands-on experimentation and developing finished pieces. This low-risk environment encourages curiosity, creative exploration, and expanding your artistic vocabulary.
