Instructor: Annie Stenseth

This class will challenge students to use their creativity to combine recycled steel objects into one of a kind metal sculptures. Students will look through scrap metal to find the pieces that they want to bring to life, design a unique sculpture based on the metal they chose, and learn how to safely use equipment to make their design a reality. An instructor will guide participants to use an angle grinder to cut and grind metal into shapes that fit their design before using a MIG welder to attach the pieces together. The workshop will also include discussion on at home finishing options. Students may bring steel items if they wish. All skill levels welcome!

For safety in this class you must wear closed toed shoes, long pants, and natural fiber clothing. Long hair must be tied back and jewelry should be removed.
