Instructor: Robin Samiljan

This beginner friendly class will introduce you to the historic process of painting with encaustic medium. A skilled instructor will guide you through everything from setting up your workspace to experimenting with materials and application techniques. You will learn the basics of mixing and layering wax paint, creating compositions, and controlling the materials through demonstrations and guided instruction. Come ready to get your hands “waxy" and have fun with encaustic painting! All skill levels welcome.

YOUTH PARTICIPANTS For students ages 14-17 participating in non-youth classes, parents/guardians must complete this waiver and send to Artisan.Center@nwtc.edu before the first day of class. The form may also be completed at the Artisan and Business Center if registering in person.
