Participate in a creative, outdoor experience as you learn to forage wild art supplies and capture the world around you! In this workshop you will compose a striking landscape and capture botanical curiosities using pen and ink and watercolor wash techniques. The instructor will cover material and paper selection, choosing effective color palettes, blending, gradients, and texture creation on location in nature.
This workshop will meet off-site at Baird Creek Park.
Meet your instructor, Will Dickinson at the Baird Creek Lower Lot and Trail Head (324 Baird Creek Rd). Will, will have a poster with the workshop name on it and will be wearing an NWTC employee name badge.
The class will take place on a level accessible trail less than a 1/4 mile from the parking area with plenty of options to sit down and sketch for :30 min or :40 min blocks. . A folding chair or pad to sit on is also recommended
In the case of inclement weather, a make up day will be scheduled. Artisan and Business Center Staff will reach out with cancellations and rescheduling.
