Learn woodturning basics in this one-day, practical workshop. Students will get an introduction to woodturning, basic lathe operation, and safety guidelines. The instructor will guide you through all the steps to creating a custom, maple rolling pin on the lathe. This workshop is great for beginners but all skill levels welcome!

Bring an impact-resistant face shield (shared classroom shields are also available for use), and closed-toe shoes.

YOUTH PARTICIPANTS For students ages 14-17 participating in non-youth classes, parents/guardians must complete this waiver and send to Artisan.Center@nwtc.edu before the first day of class. The form may also be completed at the Artisan and Business Center if registering in person.
