Build on your foundational woodturning skills with practice in bowl turning techniques! Experienced instructors will focus on teaching you the proper methods of mounting bowl blanks and how to turn bowl forms using a bowl gouge, scraper, and parting tools, all while observing safe woodturning practices. During this class, students will have the opportunity to form projects from both green and dry wood, as well as fashion a natural-edge bowl. Students will also learn about harvesting, cutting, and storing their own green wood supply, tool sharpening techniques, and finishing practices to skillfully complete projects.
