Entry Level Fire Fighter
Designed to provide the entry level firefighter candidate with the information needed to comply with the minimum fire training requirements as specified in Wisconsin SPS330.

Satisfactory completion of Entry Level Firefighter (60 hours/6th Edition) is required for state compliancy as specified in WI Comm 30. Live fire training (Practical) dates will include 6 hours sessions on some Saturdays. Practicals, NIMS, and Haz/Mat Awareness are mandatory for satisfactory completion of this class. Most fire training classes require a complete set of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Students are also required to purchase boots, hood and gloves that meet the current NFPA standard. Textbooks are not state funded, available at the NWTC Bookstore, and the responsibility of the student.
