Firefighter 1 State Exam
A practical skills evaluation for certification to the FF1 level. All students will receive a safety briefing prior to the practical exercise. The practical is monitored by state representatives.

**Firefighter 1 State Practical Exam**
State Practical Exam Fee of $80.00 is not state funded and is the responsibility of the student. Fee is due at time of registration. There is no registration or fee for the State Written Exam. To qualify for FF1 certification, you must have successfully completed Hazardous Material Operations (24 hours) in addition to Firefighter 1-Certified or Fire Fighting Principles. Registration begins at 6:45 am.
