This two hour, self paced, asynchronous course provides an in depth review of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) concepts and their application in clinical dentistry. You may begin the course at any time and progress through the modules at your convenience; however, you’ll want to ensure you give yourself enough time to complete all requirements by the end date.

Participants will learn the fundamental principles of CBCT technology, how it differs from other forms of digital dental imaging, and how to interpret CBCT images.

Competencies:

  1. Describe fundamentals of CBCT in relation to dentistry.
  2. Provide interpretation of CBTC imaging in dentistry
  3. Apply hands on training of CBCT imaging with clinical practice
