Becoming an Effective Trainer is a course designed for those who want to improve their training skills and become an exceptional trainer. In this course, you will learn how to organize your knowledge, present it in a variety of formats, and talk about it in a way that others can understand and benefit from. Since, it's important to remember that training is much more than just the transfer of knowledge.

Whether you are a subject matter expert (SME) who has been asked to train others or in charge of delivering on-boarding training for new employees to your department, this course is for you.

Participants will be able to

  • Understand Characteristics of Exceptional Trainers.
  • Identify ways adult learn. 
  • Determine and create a training plan.
  • Practice effective questioning.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the training plan.

Denise is an experienced Talent and Organizational Development professional with 23 years of experience in program design and facilitation for staff and leadership development. She provides mentorship and coaching to staff and leaders and is driven to utilize her skills to foster equity, inclusion, and belonging.
