As an officer engaged in waterborne patrol, you recognize that the Academy didn’t prepare you for the job you chose. Your job is different now than it was on the street. If you want to excel, you’ll have to take what you learned street side and apply it in a radically different environment. Your daily patrols include underway operations and search and rescue response. As a result, you’ll have to learn to use very different equipment.
