Cell Extractions

There may be situations where an inmate(s) behavior is to such an extreme that staff can no longer safely control the individual(s), the Correctional Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) should be mobilized. This program is designed to refresh CERT Tactics for multiple agencies Correctional Emergency Response Teams.

The program will consist of each agency performing multiple, cell extraction scenarios . The scenarios will start with warm up scenarios using a training dummy, to simulations with role players in protective equipment. The emphasis of this is to refresh each agency in cell extraction techniques, and small disturbance emergencies. This training will also aid in agencies learning different techniques to deal with different situations.
