Room: GBUD103 - Lab
This is a hands-on class designed for street officers, who are looking to improve their DAAT skills. Officers will be challenged physically by various drills & Isolation Exercises that are designed for dealing with "Sudden Assaults" and Resistive Subjects. Officers will review and apply the basic fundamental techniques of the DAAT system, through numerous reps in various positions, in order to develop, improve, and enhance their own skill level & confidence. Officers will also learn to effectively justify (verbally) the tactics they used, through classroom discussion. Officers completing this class will be better prepared to handle & document the unpredictable situations they may encounter on a daily basis.

- Subject / Incident Documentation
- Departmental Debriefing
Equipment Needed:
- Clothing – Tactical Casual
- PPE: Mouth Guard
- PPE: Plastic Groin Protection- Can provide if you don’t have one
- Training Handgun (Inert / Plastic)- Can provide if you don’t have one
- Duty Belt (w/ No-Live Weapons)
- Note Taking Materials–Pen & Paper or Laptop
