The focus of this course includes communication methods using technology in healthcare. Learners gain experience with using the electronic health record (EHR). Healthcare EHR security issues, social media use, and digital healthcare resources are examined.
Pre-requisites: It is encouraged, but not required to take the companion course Technology Skill Application in Healthcare, first in the micro credential series.
CLASS INFORMATION:
This class is delivered completely Online with weekly due dates. There are no scheduled class times. You can learn anytime and anywhere you have access to the internet. You will connect to your instructor and classmates through online discussion boards and other platforms.
