Attendees are asked to bring their agency vehicle. This is the LESB, state-mandated 2023-2025 biennial pursuit update required of all LEOs to maintain certification as in the State of Wisconsin; it will consist of the following components: • Introduction: Review of legislative requirements, curriculum components, and pursuit data reporting. • Vehicle Operations - Officer Survival: Safety belt use, speed management and multitasking, and intersection negotiation. • Pursuit Operations: Pursuit defined, close pursuit, fresh pursuit, pursuit support, EVOC Disturbance Resolution Model, intervention options, pursuit termination factors, agency policy review (pursuit and corresponding Use of Force). • Trending: Canine responsibilities in the new HRVC model. • Application and Skills: Practical Driving Skills review, Use of Force Drills, HRVC Post Pursuit Simulations.
This training is part of the In-Service Track for Officers which provides a reduced rate of $85.00 when you register for the training titled Complete In-Service Track for Officers Series in 3 days for $275

- Room Clearing & Team Tactics (8:00am - 12:00pm)

- Fighting In & Around Vehicles: Advanced Vehicle Contacts (1:00pm - 5:00pm)
