This course will provide learner the opportunity to understand the different professions that exist for private investigators. Learners will explore specialties to understand what Private Investigators do as well as what does the state of Wisconsin require. Learners will evaluate the Department of Safety and Professional Services, application process, laws, and ethics for private investigators. Because most private investigators work for themselves in the State of Wisconsin, learners will also explore the business start-up process, business structures and costs, brand discovery, business and marketing plan template, retainers, and laws.
