As Policing is evolving rapidly, we as officers must prepare and train for the violent and deadly encounters taking place across the country. This eight-hour course is geared towards officers who are looking to improve their tactical skills during traffic stops and other vehicle contacts situations. Officers will have an opportunity to evaluate and assess their skills through numerous high risk, ambush, and sudden assault situations. Officers will learn techniques: to shoot from the seated position, survive the sudden assault or ambush, and how to fight/move around vehicles during a gun fight.
Course content will also include a dynamic look at the approach, the return, the re-approach, and non-approach considerations to improve officer safety.
If you would like your agency to be invoiced after the training is complete, email rob.hock@nwtc.edu with each attendee's name, email address and date of birth and we will get them registered for the class.
