4975 Glendale Ave
Howard, WI 54313
Room: GBUD109 - Classroom
As policing is evolving rapidly, we as officers must prepare and train for the violent and deadly encounters taking place across the country. This four-hour course is geared towards officers who are looking to improve their tactical skills during traffic stops and other vehicle contacts situations. Officers will have an opportunity to evaluate and assess their skills through numerous high risk, ambush, and sudden assault situations. Officers will learn techniques: to shoot from the seated position, survive the sudden assault or ambush, and how to fight/move around vehicles during a gun fight. Course content will also include a dynamic look at the approach, the return, the re-approach, and non-approach considerations to improve officer safety.
***Require one force on force rounds
