The student will learn to understand the phenomenon of flashover; recognize the warning signs; learn nozzle techniques to delay fire development and progress; and ventilation's effect on interior room conditions. Training will consist of classroom session and use of the live fire Flashover Simulator Trailer.

PREREQUISITES: Firefighter Level 1. Attendees also required to bring turnout gear and SCBA.
