Becoming a professional pilot begins with becoming an FAA Certified Private Pilot. Students successfully completing this course will be endorsed to take the FAA Private Pilot Written exam under FAR 61 or 141. The written exam carries a separate fee that is paid to a 3rd party proctoring company that is not included in this course. The Private Pilot Written exam is a required exam on the pathway to becoming a professional pilot.
