Leadership Academy

NWTC’s 6 week Leadership Academy is designed to develop the leadership skills of the informal leader in every organization. This employer-sponsored program is an excellent development opportunity for front line production employees and potential team leaders. This is a great chance for employees to learn from their peers in similar organizations. Through classroom discussions, Academy participants will learn the best practices of other companies and collaborate on new peer leadership approaches with the ability to apply those new skills in their workplace.

The Academy’s six, four-hour courses include:

• The Peer Leader
• Creating a Motivational Environment
• Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
• Working as a High Performance Team
• Team Development Strategies
