PADI- Underwater Evidence Recovery

This is a 2-day training course consisting of 4 hours of classroom, 4 hours of surface drills practicing search patterns, equipment setup and item recovery, and 8 hours of training at a dive site practicing learned skills and responding to scenarios. This training covers the various aspects of underwater evidence recovery to assist in locating evidence and preserving the integrity of the evidence for later processing. Some of the topics in this class are underwater search techniques, evidence location marking, evidence retrieval and preservation, and scene documentation. All students passing the course will receive a certification of completion and a PADI Underwater Evidence Recovery Specialty Certification.
