SWAT Symposium

We invite Wisconsin agencies to attend a 1-day Hostage Rescue Symposium. This event is an opportunity to connect and share tactics, training, and procedures. This is not an NWTC-taught course, but a collaborative experience. Real-world debriefs will precede skill set exercises and discussions.

Each session includes tactical exercises and debriefs. LAPD will be providing a debrief of a hostage rescue on a bus to start the conference (please contact Rob Hock or Dik Waak to coordinate).

Details Teams: Max 7 officers per team (departments may field multiple teams). Observers: Team members not participating may observe/join Debrief after they have went through the sceanrio. Equipment Needed: -Full tactical gear (helmet, vest, belt, & eye) -Training Noise Flash Distraction Devices (if deployable by your team) -Weapons and 300 simmunition/FOF (simunitions only) rounds for force-on-force scenarios

Fee: $100 per agency (covers NWTC Force Entry maintenance) Lunch: On your own
