SWAT Vehicle Assaults

This class is for SWAT teams to understand and practice the tactics needed to approach/assault vehicles: cars, vans, buses, in a critical or crisis situation. This will be done usinga Power Point presentation and videos in a classroom and than doing practical application on a range.

This is taught by Dik Waak LAPD SWAT(ret)

Required Equipment:

• Duty Belt with handgun and typical support gear
• Personal Body Armor/Tactical Body Armor *Patrol gloves and Ballistic Helmet *Eye/Ear Protection
• 50 rounds of handgun ammo
• 50 rounds of marking cartridges (FOF)
• Utility uniform and/or weather-appropriate training clothing
• Ballistic helmet
• Gas Mask
• Knee / Elbow Pads
