Trauma-Informed Leadership (TIL) in Human Services
This interactive workshop is designed for adults pursuing or currently engaged in human services roles who aspire to become trauma-informed leaders. Participants will explore the Trauma-Informed Leadership Model© to build the foundational knowledge and tools necessary to become trauma-informed human services professionals. By leveraging trauma-informed leadership principles and strategies, this training focuses on enhancing participants' ability to reflect on their sphere of influence, align their leadership intentions with trauma-informed practices, and create lasting, positive impact on those they serve. Through a mix of reflective exercises, group discussions, and practical applications, attendees will leave equipped to transform their environments and lead with empathy and purpose. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the core principles of trauma-informed leadership and their relevance in human services.
- Develop a trauma-informed mindset that fosters empathy, resiliency, and relationship-building.
- Identify their unique sphere of influence and align their leadership orientation to maximize impact.
