This small group training session is for NWTC students who are struggling to pick or narrow down a topic for their paper or presentation. Attendees will learn how to break a broad topic down into a manageable research question, as well as where to start their search for resources.

Students can also access the Narrow Your Topic section of the Paper Topics Research Guide to before the training session. Feel free to bring your own laptop. Laptops will be provided during the session for those who do not have them.

Spots are limited. If you don't see a training session that works for you, feel free to make an appointment for an individual training
