COLLEGE OF BUSINESS Student capacity: Minimum 2, No Maximum

Competition Description: Write a 2-3 minute song or instrumental from computer software or recorded audio. An export of the song in mp3 format can be sent in and will be judged on originality, creativity, the balance on the mix of instruments and the quality of the playing/songwriting. The top pieces will be played on our campus radio station, TC Campus Connection at TC3.io.

FURTHER DESCRIPTION: Working either in software like Garageband, Logic, FL Studio or similar apps or recording music live into software, create a musical tune of any style. It can include various instruments either real or virtual and even vocals. After creating the song export it to mp3 format for submission. Judging will take into consideration how the music was created, the techniques used in the recording or editing of the music and how much of the song is original content versus any sampled material.
